We have hygienists and hygiene therapists across all three of our sites, our hygienists are specially trained professionals in the prevention and treatment of gum disease. Our team of hygienists work closely alongside our dentists and are focused to help you care for your teeth and gums the right way. They will discuss the best toothbrushing and interdental cleaning tailored for each individual to help prevent gum disease.

A hygiene appointment involves scaling the teeth to remove plaque and tartar deposits, finishing with a polish using a product called prophy paste, leaving them feeling fresh.

We also offer a treatment called Airflow which is a treatment used to remove persistent stains, plaque and discolouration. This is done using a fine jet of compressed air, water and a fine powder. This treatment is offered to all of our patients, and is a great treatment to clean around dental implants safely with no risk of scratching implant surfaces, abutments or prosthesis.
